In a separate development, the NTA has extended the facility for candidates to submit their bank account details for the NEET 2026 fee refund until July 14. Candidates who are eligible for a refund should update their account information on the official portal before the deadline.

The NTA has also indicated that it is considering conducting future NEET UG examinations in computer-based test (CBT) mode. However, no official decision has been announced yet.
