NEET Re-exam 2026: Railways Announce Full Local Train Services on June 21 for Students

The Eastern Railway (ER) has announced that all local trains on the Howrah and Sealdah routes will operate on June 21, 2026, to help students travelling for the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. Despite the day being a Sunday, these services will follow the regular weekday timetable, the railway said.

In addition, Eastern Railway will run several special trains on routes covering destinations such as Diamond Harbour, Sealdah, Sonarpur, Katwa, Azimganj, Rampurhat and Barddhaman, among others. These measures aim to accommodate the expected surge in passenger traffic due to the examination.

However, train services on the Circular Railway routes will be regulated in view of the observance of International Yoga Day 2026. Students and passengers are advised to check for any changes on these routes.
