MP Board Releases 2027 Exam Timetable: Class 10 from Feb 24, Class 12 from Feb 18
The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially released the examination timetable for Class 10 and Class 12 for the academic session 2026-27. According to the schedule, Class 12 examinations will commence on February 18, 2027, while Class 10 examinations will begin on February 24, 2027. The announcement brings clarity to lakhs of students across the state who have been preparing for their board examinations.
The board has made the date sheet available on its official website, mpbse.nic.in. Students are advised to visit the portal and download the complete timetable for their respective classes. The schedule includes subject-wise dates and timings for both theory and practical examinations. Practical and internal assessment examinations are expected to be conducted earlier, as per the usual practice, though the board has not yet separately notified the practical exam schedule.
According to the released timetable, the Class 10 examinations will be held in the morning shift, starting at 9 AM. Class 12 exams will also be conducted in the morning shift. The board has clarified that all examinations will be held in the designated examination centres as assigned to the students. No changes are allowed for individual candidates regarding exam centres or timings.
Officials from MPBSE have urged schools and students to strictly adhere to the timetable. Schools have been asked to ensure that all necessary preparations, including the distribution of hall tickets, are completed well in advance. Hall tickets or admit cards will be issued to eligible students only after the completion of required formalities, including the clearance of fees and submission of examination forms.
Students who are unable to access the official website can also obtain the timetable from their respective schools. The board has also released the date sheet in PDF format, which can be easily downloaded and printed for offline reference. In recent years, the board has also provided the timetable through mobile applications and SMS alerts to reach a wider set of students, especially those in rural areas.
Every year, the MPBSE conducts board examinations for over 15 lakh students across the state. The Class 10 and Class 12 results play a crucial role in determining admissions to higher secondary schools and colleges. Therefore, experts advise students to prepare their study plan based on the subject-wise dates, prioritising subjects that are scheduled earlier in the exam calendar.
Teachers and educationists have welcomed the early release of the timetable. They believe that it gives students ample time to organise their revision scientifically. With the exam dates announced months in advance, students can allocate dedicated hours to each subject, identify weak areas, and seek help from teachers as needed.
The board has also reminded students that the use of unfair means is strictly prohibited. Electronic gadgets, including mobile phones and smartwatches, are not allowed inside the examination hall. Students are advised to carry only their hall ticket, writing materials, and other permitted items. Invigilators have been instructed to ensure a fair and disciplined examination process.
While the official date sheet has not detailed any changes to the examination pattern, students are advised to follow the curriculum prescribed by the board and refer to the sample papers and marking schemes published earlier. In the coming months, the board may release additional notifications regarding examination centre lists, internal assessments, and other logistical details.
The release of the timetable marks the beginning of the final phase of preparation for students, teachers and parents alike. Education officials have requested students to maintain good health and focus on a balanced routine during the preparatory period. They have also advised students to avoid unnecessary stress and approach the examinations with confidence and positive mindset.
For the latest updates, students and parents are encouraged to regularly check the official MPBSE website and follow the board's official social media channels. All correspondence and notifications from the board, including any revisions to the schedule, will be published exclusively on the official platforms. Students are cautioned against relying on unofficial sources.
The board has expressed its sincere wishes to all students for their upcoming examinations. With systematic preparation and dedication, students can achieve their desired results and build a strong foundation for their future academic and professional endeavours.
