Modi in Jakarta: 'Reform, Perform, Transform' Driving India's Growth
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Jakarta on Tuesday that India is advancing under the mantra of 'reform, perform and transform', emphasising that self-reliance acts as a multiplying force for Indonesia and the entire ASEAN region.
Speaking at a diaspora event also attended by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, Modi stated: 'India has carried out one reform after another. We have consistently performed, and that is why the country is transforming today. We are moving forward with the mantra of reform, perform, and transform.'
Modi described India's growth trajectory in one line as '1.4 billion aspirations in motion'. He noted that India is not just the world's fastest-growing economy but a nation with over a billion dreams in motion, and that the Indian economy is playing a major role in driving global growth.
President Prabowo, in his address, highlighted his admiration for Modi and referred to his 'Indian DNA', reflecting close ties between the two leaders and nations.
