Massive Fire Engulfs Bhiwandi Tyre Warehouse; No Casualties Reported

A massive fire broke out at a tyre and wooden pallet warehouse on the Mumbai-Nashik highway in the Bhiwandi area of Thane district on [date], fire officials confirmed.

The blaze erupted in the Nimbavali area near Kombdawada and the IGM Hospital, according to officials. Three fire engines have been deployed to the site to combat the flames.

"A massive fire has broken out here in Nimbavali. It is located near Kombdawada and the IGM Hospital area. We currently have three of our fire engines available on-site," fire official Suresh Mhatre told the Press Trust of India.

Authorities said all people were evacuated safely and no casualties have been reported in the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Bhiwandi is a major industrial hub in Maharashtra, housing numerous warehouses. Fires in such facilities, particularly those storing tyres and wooden materials, can spread rapidly due to the combustible nature of the contents.

Firefighters are working to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. Further details are awaited.
