Maharashtra TET Paper Leak: Key Accused Taken to Bihar for Evidence Recovery
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak has taken the prime accused, Bijendra Gupta, to Bihar to recover evidence. Gupta was arrested last week after evading authorities for over three weeks.
According to police, Gupta had been moving between Delhi, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh, avoiding direct contact with his family to prevent detection. The SIT deployed 75 personnel across four states, using advanced surveillance techniques to track him down.
The TET examination, conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations, was cancelled earlier this year after the question paper was leaked. The SIT was formed to investigate the leak and bring those responsible to justice. Gupta is believed to be a key link in the conspiracy.
