IAF Sorties and AI CCTVs Secure NEET-UG Re-exam Across India

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the NEET-UG re-examination for candidates affected by irregularities in the original test, deploying unprecedented security measures including Indian Air Force (IAF) sorties and AI-monitored CCTV feeds. The IAF aircraft transported question papers to examination centres across the country to minimise the risk of leaks, while artificial intelligence-based surveillance systems monitored exam halls in real time for suspicious activity.

The re-exam was ordered by the Supreme Court after allegations of malpractice and technical glitches disrupted the initial test held on May 5. Authorities equipped over 700 centres with high-definition cameras, facial recognition, and motion detection technology to ensure a fair process. The NTA stated that all measures complied with legal and constitutional standards.

Candidates reported smooth conduct, with no major incidents. The results are expected within two weeks. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated the government's commitment to transparency in competitive examinations.
