Hyderabad Indiramma Housing Lotteries from Aug 27; Draws to be Livestreamed
Hyderabad: The lottery draws to select beneficiaries for 7,340 Indiramma Houses in the Core Urban Region (CURE) of Hyderabad will be held constituency-wise from August 27, 2026. The process will be streamed live on YouTube and other platforms to ensure transparency.
According to V.P. Gautham, Vice Chairman of the Telangana State Housing Board, the lotteries will be conducted in the presence of officials from the Revenue and Housing departments, along with media personnel. Four constituencies will be covered each day during the draw process.
The draws will adhere to reservations for applicants from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), persons with disabilities, and government outsourcing, Class IV employees and sanitation workers. A waiting list for each category will also be prepared, with selections made through the same lottery process.
The State government received over 60,000 applications for 7,340 affordable flats across 16 Assembly constituencies within the CURE limits. The application window was open from July 21 to August 15, 2026. Beneficiaries will be allotted flats in housing towers, with the government providing a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat. Each beneficiary will need to pay ₹6 lakh in installments. The built-up area of each flat is 528 square feet, while the carpet area is 400 square feet, including a hall, kitchen and one bedroom.
Verification of applications is currently underway. Officials are checking whether applicants own a flat or plot within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits, their residential status in Hyderabad, and other eligibility criteria, said Mr. Gautham.
The list of applicants will be displayed online on the websites of MeeSeva (https://ts.meeseva.telangana.gov.in/) and the Telangana Housing Board (tghb.cgg.gov.in, tghb.telangana.gov.in) from the evening of Thursday, August 20, 2026.
People can submit objections against details in the list until the evening of Sunday, August 23, 2026. After examining the objections, the final list of eligible applicants for the lotteries will be announced on August 25, 2026. For any doubts, applicants can call 040 24603572.
