In a significant development in the KR Puram triple murder case, the Bengaluru police have taken Kenneth, the prime accused, into custody in Puducherry. Kenneth was arrested late on June 25 following sustained technical surveillance and investigation, officials said.
The murders occurred late on June 22 in an apartment at Seegehalli under KR Puram police station limits in east Bengaluru. The victims were a 55-year-old man, his wife, and their younger daughter.
According to police sources, after the alleged killings, Kenneth and co-accused Shweta fled separately to evade detection. They travelled to Puducherry by different routes.
