EPFO Prioritises Faster Claims and Grievance Resolution in New Fiscal Year
The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has set its sights on improving service delivery, ensuring timely settlement of claims, and strengthening grievance redressal mechanisms as it begins the new financial year. This was the key outcome of the first operations and maintenance meeting for 2026-27, chaired by Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner of Karnataka and Goa Zone, Jay Kumar, at the zonal office in Hubballi on Friday.
During the meeting, Mr. Kumar emphasised the need for enhanced compliance and enforcement activities, effective recovery of dues, efficient pension-related services, and robust legal and public outreach initiatives. These priorities reflect the organisation's commitment to upholding the constitutional rights of workers and ensuring social security benefits reach beneficiaries without delay.
Regional offices presented their challenges and proposed measures to improve organisational performance. The meeting also discussed strategies to achieve the targets set for the current fiscal year, with a focus on transparency and accountability.
The meeting was attended by in-charge Commissioners from all ten regional offices under the Hubballi Zone, which covers various districts of Karnataka and Goa. The zonal office release noted that such reviews are part of ongoing efforts to streamline operations and better serve EPFO's vast subscriber base.
