Emirates Delegation Meets Telangana CM; Discussions on Flight Expansion, MRO, and Sports Sponsorship
Hyderabad: A delegation from Emirates Airlines, led by its India vice president Mohammed Sarthan, called on Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy as the airline completes 25 years of operations in India.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister urged Emirates to expand its flight services from Hyderabad, citing growing passenger demand. He informed the delegation that the state government plans to establish two additional airports in Telangana and invited the airline to consider setting up Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations at these upcoming facilities.
Mr. Revanth Reddy also appealed to Emirates to partner with the state in sports development by sponsoring training programmes for athletes at the proposed Sports University in Gachibowli. According to the Chief Minister's Office, Mr. Sarthan responded positively to the proposal.
