Dubai Road Repairs Force Temporary Closure of Indian Consulate, Passport Services Halted

The Indian Consulate in Dubai will remain closed this weekend due to road maintenance work conducted by local authorities, officials announced on Wednesday.

In a press release shared on social media platform X, the Consulate General of India, Dubai, stated that the consulate complex will be shut from Friday morning, July 17, until Sunday, July 19, 2024.

During this period, passport, visa, and attestation services at the consulate will be suspended. These services are scheduled to resume on Monday, July 20, 2024. Appointments for that day will open at 8 pm on July 19.

The consulate also clarified that passport, visa, and attestation services at the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi will operate as usual on Friday, July 17.

Applicants are advised to plan their visits accordingly and check the consulate's official website or social media for updates.
