Dhanlaxmi Bank Q1 net profit doubles to ₹24.91 crore, total business grows 21%
Dhanlaxmi Bank has reported a net profit of ₹24.91 crore for the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, doubling from ₹12.18 crore in the same period last year. The operating profit for the quarter stood at ₹51.45 crore, compared to ₹33.28 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The bank's total business reached ₹35,190 crore as of June 30, 2026, a growth of 21.13% from ₹29,051 crore as of June 30, 2025. Total deposits increased by 17.10% to ₹19,404 crore from ₹16,570 crore over the same period.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director and CEO Ajith Kumar K.K. said: “The Q1 results are encouraging and reflect the sustained efforts made by the Bank over the past few years. I am confident that the total business growth of over 21% achieved during the first quarter will support the Bank’s strategy of sustainable growth throughout the year. Our Capital to Risk-Weighted Assets Ratio (CRAR) of 19.19% and Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR) of 92.77% have shown significant improvement over the position as on 31 March 2026, reflecting our continued focus on prudent business growth while maintaining strong regulatory compliance.”
