Delta Electronics Proposes Greenfield Testing, Validation Facility in Tamil Nadu
Delta Electronics India has proposed establishing a state-of-the-art greenfield testing and validation facility at its existing campus in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The proposed centre, named ARIVAM, will focus on sustainable AI data centres, renewable energy systems, and integrated micro grid solutions.
The company, in a statement, said the centre will handle design, engineering, manufacturing, and lifecycle management of these systems. Delta already operates a large manufacturing facility in Krishnagiri, and the expansion is part of its ongoing presence in the region.
A delegation led by Benjamin Lin, president, and Niranjan Nayak, managing director, met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay to discuss the proposal. They thanked the Chief Minister for the state's continued support for Delta's existing operations. The company requested collaboration with the state government in areas such as energy infrastructure, energy storage, AI data centre infrastructure, and smart manufacturing and industrial automation. Delta said the Chief Minister assured them of continued support.
Delta Electronics, founded in 1971 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, specialises in power and thermal management. Its portfolio includes IoT-based smart energy-saving solutions for data centre infrastructure, microgrids, smart manufacturing, intelligent buildings, and e-mobility.
