Delhi University UG Admissions: Phase 2 Opens, First Merit List on July 16

The second phase of Delhi University's undergraduate (UG) admission process begins on Friday, according to the schedule released on Thursday. Candidates can register and submit their preferences until July 11 on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

During this phase, applicants are required to map their subjects to eligible courses. After mapping, they will be able to view the programmes they qualify for and select their preferred colleges and courses, subject to meeting the specific eligibility criteria.

Simulated ranks will be published on the portal on Sunday, July 14. Candidates will have until July 13 to reorder their preferences based on these ranks.

The first CSAS allocation list will be released on July 16. Successful candidates must accept their allotted seats within two days. After college verification and approval, fees must be paid by July 21. The university stated, 'Once the candidates submit their programme fees within a stipulated round, they will get an opportunity to choose the upgrade/freeze option. Candidates who choose upgrade will be able to reorder their higher preferences within the duration of the round in which the admission was sought.'
