Delhi University Opens UG Admissions: Phase I Registration Begins on CSAS Portal

Delhi University (DU) announced on Saturday, June 27, 2026, the start of Phase I of its undergraduate admissions process for the academic year 2026-27. The university has invited candidates who appeared in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) 2026 to register on the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal.

Registrations are open on the official CSAS website (https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in). Admissions will be offered to 73 programmes and more than 100 BA programmes across 67 colleges. Seats will be allocated solely based on CUET (UG) 2026 scores, provided candidates meet the programme-specific eligibility criteria outlined in the UG Bulletin of Information 2026-27.

In this first phase, candidates must register using their CUET (UG) 2026 application number. The university has integrated essential credentials such as name, date of birth, photograph, and signature via the government's API Setu, ensuring a secure and hassle-free registration process. This integration reduces duplicate data entry and minimises errors. A one-time non-refundable registration fee is applicable.

Phase II of CSAS will require candidates to map their CUET test papers to subjects studied in Class XII. Only those CUET language and domain-specific papers in which the candidate passed Class XII will be considered for eligibility. Based on the mapping, the university will calculate a cumulative score for each eligible programme, after which candidates will need to list their preferences for programmes and colleges. The schedule for Phase II will be announced shortly.
