CMA December 2026 Registration: ICMAI Extends Last Date to August 4

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has extended the last date for CMA December 2026 examination registration to August 4, 2026. Candidates can now apply for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses before the revised deadline. The earlier registration window was scheduled to close on July 31.

This extension provides additional time for aspirants to complete their applications. However, officials have advised candidates not to wait until the final day to avoid last-minute technical issues. It is also essential to ensure that all personal details and uploaded documents are accurate in the application form.

How to Apply for CMA December 2026 Registration

Applicants can follow these steps to complete the registration process:

1. Visit the official ICMAI website at icmai.in.
2. Click on the 'Admission' section.
3. Select the desired CMA course (Foundation, Intermediate, or Final).
4. Create a new login account or log in if already registered.
5. Enter the required personal and academic details.
6. Upload necessary documents, including photographs and signatures.
7. Pay the application fee online through available payment modes.
8. Submit the application form.
9. Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

CMA 2026 Application Fees

The examination fee for each course is as follows:

Foundation course: Rs 6,000
Intermediate course: Rs 23,100
Final course: Rs 25,000

Candidates should note that fees are non-refundable and must be paid within the prescribed period to confirm their registration.

Eligibility Criteria for CMA Courses

Applicants must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements for their chosen course:

For the Foundation course: Candidates should have passed or appeared in the Class 12 board examination from a recognised board.

For the Intermediate course: Candidates must have cleared the CMA Foundation course or possess a recognised graduate degree from a university. Those who have passed both groups of the Intermediate examination are eligible for the next level.

For the Final course: Candidates must have passed both groups of the CMA Intermediate examination. Additionally, candidates should satisfy all course-specific eligibility conditions prescribed by ICMAI.

The ICMAI conducts the CMA examination twice a year, typically in June and December. The December 2026 session will be held according to the official schedule, which will be announced separately. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the official website for updates and notifications.

This extension is expected to benefit many candidates who may have faced difficulties in completing their applications due to technical or personal reasons. The institute has reiterated that all applications will be accepted only through the official portal, and no offline submissions will be entertained.
