CENTAC releases revised UG NEET draft merit list for Puducherry; objections due August 27
The Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC) has released the revised draft merit list for undergraduate NEET-based professional courses in Puducherry. The list, published on the official CENTAC website, covers seats under Government, Management, Management (Telugu Minority), and NRI quotas, along with special category candidates.
According to a press release from the admission committee, the revised draft merit list has been prepared based on the cut-off marks prescribed in UG NEET 2026. The special category list includes candidates belonging to groups such as Meritorious Sports Persons, Persons with Disabilities, Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, and Government School Students.
Candidates can now check the verification status of their submitted applications through their individual dashboards on the CENTAC portal. The committee has asked applicants to upload any required certificates or file objections using the designated link on their dashboard before 10 a.m. on August 27.
A specific advisory has been issued for candidates whose claims were rejected due to non-submission of recently renewed Revenue Certificates. They are requested to submit the proper certificates before the same deadline — 10 a.m. on August 27 — to avoid disqualification.
The seat matrix for undergraduate courses has also been made available on the CENTAC website. Candidates who wish to revise their course preferences for Round 1 allotment may do so within the stipulated timeframe, the release stated.
CENTAC has cautioned that final admission will be subject to physical verification of documents. Anyone found to have submitted forged documents will face cancellation of candidature and legal action as per law.
For further details, candidates can visit the official website at www.centacpuducherry.in, use the Grievance option in their login dashboard, or contact the helpline at 0413-2655570.
