CCTV Footage Shows Missing Boy with Unidentified Man at Secunderabad Station

Twelve days after a five-year-old boy went missing from Secunderabad Railway Station, police are investigating a suspected kidnapping after CCTV footage showed the child walking hand-in-hand with an unidentified man inside the station premises.

The boy, Rapu Nikhil, a resident of Chilakanagar in Uppal, went missing on June 20 after he was separated from his grandmother while they were on Platform No. 1 of Secunderabad Railway Station.

According to the complaint lodged by his mother, Rapu Rajeshwari, she had left for her daily wage work that morning following a domestic dispute. Later that evening, a neighbour informed her that her mother had travelled with Nikhil to the railway station and that the child had gone missing while they were resting on the platform.

The mother rushed to the station and searched for her son but was unable to trace him before lodging a complaint with the Secunderabad Railway Police Station. A case was booked and a search operation was launched.

During the investigation, police examined CCTV footage from the railway station, which showed the child walking with an unidentified man who was holding his hand. Investigators are working to establish the man’s identity and ascertain his role in the child’s disappearance.
