Assam Floods: 78 Dead, Over 3 Lakh Affected; CBI Files Chargesheet in NEET Scam
At least 78 people have died and more than 3 lakh are affected as floods continue to ravage several districts of Assam. The India Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall till August 1, raising concerns of further damage. The state government has opened relief camps and is conducting rescue operations.
