Andhra University Reschedules Supplementary Exams to August 27
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University has postponed the second-semester supplementary theory examinations for undergraduate courses, originally scheduled for August 26, to August 27. The decision was communicated through an official circular issued by the university administration.
The revision comes in the wake of a change in the public holiday declared for Milad-un-Nabi, a significant observance for the Muslim community. Since the holiday now falls on August 26, the examinations scheduled for that day have been pushed to the following day to avoid a clash with the holiday.
According to the university circular, the examinations for Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (B.H.M.C.T.), and Bachelor of Computer Applications (B.C.A.) will be held on August 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. The examination timings remain unchanged; only the date has been revised.
Students appearing for these supplementary examinations are advised to take note of the revised date and make necessary preparations accordingly. The university has also urged them to regularly check their hall tickets and official examination information on the university's official website for any further updates or clarifications.
