Andhra Pradesh to disburse Annadatha Sukhibhava, PM-KISAN instalments on June 20
The Andhra Pradesh government will disburse the first instalment of financial assistance under the Annadata Sukhibhava scheme for the 2026-27 financial year, along with the 23rd instalment of the PM-KISAN scheme, on June 20. The programme is expected to benefit more than 46.85 lakh farmer families across the state.
According to Agriculture Director Manazir Jeelani Samoon, the fund release programme will coincide with the nationwide observance of ‘PM-KISAN Utsav Diwas’ announced by the Central government.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the national programme at Tarakeswar in Hooghly district of West Bengal, while Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will take part in the state-level event at Lingamguntla village in Chilakaluripet Assembly constituency of Palnadu district.
The Annadatha Sukhibhava scheme was launched on August 2, 2025, and provides direct income support to eligible farmer families. Under the first instalment for 2026-27, each beneficiary family will receive ₹7,000, comprising ₹5,000 from the state government and ₹2,000 from the Centre’s PM-KISAN scheme.
A total of 46,85,838 farmer families are expected to benefit, including 45,69,817 land-owning farmer families and 1,16,021 farmers holding Record of Forest Rights (RoFR) titles.
The government will release a total of ₹3,125.47 crore under the combined assistance package. Of this, the state government’s contribution amounts to ₹2,342.92 crore, while the Centre will provide ₹782.55 crore through PM-KISAN.
The programme is scheduled to commence at 3.45 p.m. and will be broadcast live at all Rythu Seva Kendras (RSKs) in Andhra Pradesh.
Officials said the simultaneous release of benefits under Annadatha Sukhibhava and PM-KISAN is aimed at providing timely financial support to farmers, strengthening farm livelihoods and promoting sustainable agricultural growth across the state.
