60,000+ apply for 7,340 Indiramma flats; applications open for 1,920 more in Hyderabad

The application window closed on Saturday, August 15, 2026. According to Telangana Housing Board Vice-Chairman V.P. Gautham, verification of applications is underway, and lottery draws to select beneficiaries will be held after August 20.
In a related development, the Board has invited fresh applications for 1,920 flats in four more Assembly constituencies. These are Amangal (Hayatnagar) in L.B. Nagar, Goshamahal, Jamistanpur in Musheerabad, and Bandlaguda near Falaknuma in Chadrayangutta. Interested applicants can submit their forms from Sunday, August 16, 2026, until September 3, 2026, through MeeSeva centres, the Board's website, or its WhatsApp number (8096958096). The Indiramma Houses initiative is part of the state government's broader promise to construct one lakh affordable flats in the CURE region. As a pilot, 480 flats are planned in each Assembly constituency. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation for the Indiramma Towers on Thursday, August 13, 2026. These towers will be stilt-plus-10-storey buildings, with each flat having a built-up area of 528 square feet, including a hall, bedroom, and kitchen.
The government will provide a subsidy of ₹5 lakh per flat, while each beneficiary must contribute ₹6 lakh in installments. This financial structure aims to make home ownership accessible to lower-income groups. Tenders for the construction works have already been invited, and the Board expects to start construction in the first week of next month.
Officials have urged applicants to ensure their documents are in order and to track the verification process. The lottery system is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in the allocation of flats. Once the winners are selected, they will be informed through official channels.
