30 Years of Inclusion: Unified Sports Carnival Unites 1,000 Children in Chennai
Madras West Round Table 10 (MWRT10) organised the 30th edition of the Unified Sports Carnival 2026 at the ICF Indoor Stadium in Ayanavaram, Chennai, continuing a tradition first established in 1996.
The event brought together nearly 1,000 children with intellectual and developmental disabilities alongside mainstream school children to participate in sports, games, and recreational activities. According to the organising team, the carnival aims to foster acceptance, dignity, and human connection by breaking down barriers on the playground.
Chief Guest actor Harshath Khan, along with leaders from Round Table India and Ladies Circle India, attended the carnival to support the initiative.
The Unified Sports Carnival is part of Round Table India's broader commitment to community service, focusing on inclusive activities that promote social integration and physical activity for all children.
